Today was fun, everybody wore pajamas.So far the day has gone good lets hope it stays this way.Some people wore there slippers and some people wore there robes.It  is great.Art went good today.social studies went good.Tomorrow is crazy socks day do not get crazyed up with drugs.Tomorrow is the last day of RED RIBBON WEEK.Red ribbon week has been fun red day was very funny.

Today is spirit day (green and gold day)! Today's winners for wearing the most green and gold are........Jade, Brian, and Aaron!!!! Congratulations! Almost everybody in the class wore green and yellow!!!! Remember to be safe and drug free!!!!

The most mixed up clothes is David.O out of the boys and out of the girls is Mrs Packett and Velia.a so far the day has gone good and we we hope the day stays this way we had a good day in music and PE in science we made to paper airplanes and we celebrated Velias birthday we got too bowl in p.e.

Juggling Earths Resources

Today we had a FUN presentation about Juggling Earth's Resources.
We are still working on the Marathon... everyone is doing great!
MAP testing is done! At least for now!
On Wednesday we all looked ready for our pictures!

In science we are doing a lab and seeing what happen to a see as is grows without soil!

Next Week We are going to work on being good at lunch :)

Counting Down

There are so many activities going on at this time of the year. This week we celebrated Mrs. Daniels birthday by wearing PINK and lots of it! Every person participated and it was so much fun!!!
Next week we are looking forward to going skating and going to the last and FINAL rock rally!

The Day of the Week

On Monday we watched HIV and AIDS video. In music be had a belt ceremony. The people with a black belt had to take a picture. In P.E. alligators and sharks and lifeguards. On Thursday in P.E. we took a stretching test.In music we started drumming. On Friday we did the bar test.             Conner and Demi

A Full Week At Last!

This week we have been trying to get back into the swing of things! It was so wonderful meeting with all of the parents and being able to discuss the successes of your child. We have been working hard to catch up and continue preparing for state assessments.
On Monday we had our Valentine's Day party! I have posted  some of the pictures for you to enjoy. I will also be posting on the web site our Science Commercials so that you are able to see the outcome of your students hard work!!

THE WEEK....

This week in Music class we had a belt ceremony...we are still working towards our BLACK belts!!! In P.E. we are starting to work on jump rope for heart. In science we are typing our inventions and will be starting to build our products at home. Soon we will be filming our commercials to sell them!!
Today we went on our Field Trip!!!! The Salina Symphony was wonderful and they even played the selections from Harry Potter!!!!

SPELLING BEE TODAY! Brandon and Devyn did awesome! We were so proud to have them represent our class :)

Reporters this week: Carson and Luke

On Monday it was Martin Luther King day so we had no School.  On Tuesday we enjoyed playing hockey in PE.  On Wednesday we worked on our transformations drawing in art.  On Thursday we got TFK packets which if you fill them out you get little rubber ducks.  On Friday in Science we are brain storming ideas for our inventions that make the world a better place. 

Snow Week

Reporters this week: Brandon and Parker

Monday we had a snow day and had no school.In P.E we were practicing Hockey for a Hockey Game  and Wednesday we went to art and library.On Thursday we had a story teller come and tell us Asian stories and played instruments to us he was really funny and awesome!!!!! Friday we had the class spelling bee and Devyn and Brandon won it , great job! We also had a pizza party for people who completed their poem and cursive last nine weeks.
Reminder - Next week NO SCHOOL on Monday!!!

First Week Back

Our first week back was LONG but good. We were busy getting back into the swing of things. Next week I will have studnets start reporting on what we have been doing.

Christmas Break

I hope everyone had a wonderful break! I wanted to post some pictures of our class Christmas Party, we had lots of fun! Thank you to the parents who helped make it a successful...and thanks to all of you who brought gifts for other students.

We will be posting again on Friday but wanted to to remind parents that we will be going to The Water Festival on Friday. Permission slips need to be signed and returned by Thursday AND PLEASE don't forget a SACK LUNCH!
