Marathon

Kids in the school are doing a marathon to exercise,and to go to a party at the school and for a another party at the city.The track is longer because of the  playground and there's a new playground that they built they just need to put up the swings and the turf. We also did a science LAB called The Penny Lab it is just were you take a small measuring cup and a dropper and a penny and a paper towel. We were using the scientific method to figure out how many drops of water fit on a penny. A lot of us got 50 drops! Way more than we thought!

Scince CHALLENGE!

Last Week in Science we worked in teams to build a paper tower only using 6 pieces of paper and tape. The structure had to be free standing. The students did an amazing job and used communication skills as well as the scientific method. We will continue to learn about the scientific method through hands on activities. First Full Week of School

The first full week of school was fun. We love our new science teacher. We got introduced to reading,and math. We are excited because the Marathon starts next week.

Summer came and went and now we are ready for the 2013-2014 school year! This blog will be used for students to communicate with parents about what is going on in the classroom. We will post upcoming events, projects, fun things that happen through out the week and so much more! Posts will be made every Friday by different students.
